We're Recruiting New Trustees

We are excited to announce this amazing opportunity! Move Momentum is looking for 3 new people to join our Board of Trustees. Join our friendly board in helping to make our charity the best it can be, making dance accessible to everyone.


What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with:

  • A passion for community and dance/the arts

  • Good communication

  • Willing to make suggestions and challenge/discuss ideas

We are particularly interested in interviewing candidates who fit one of these criteria:

  • Experience living with a disability

  • Aged over 65

  • Board experience

This is a rewarding role that will give you the opportunity to help shape the direction and development of our charity.


Being a trustee means making decisions that will impact people’s lives. As a trustee for Move Momentum, you will be making a difference in our local community and in the lives of people who access our services. Any students of Move Momentum or family members of students are welcome and encouraged to apply, we would love to have you!

The commitment required is attendance at quarterly board meetings held via Zoom along with communication via email regarding board-level decisions and/or requesting certain documents to be reviewed. As a trustee, you may be asked to support with other specific charity events or tasks, but this will be at the individual’s discretion.
