On Saturday, December 16, 2023, Move Momentum hosted its Christmas Showcase and Social, marking a new event for the charity. The occasion featured all classes - Academies, GEMS, and Liberate Dance - exhibiting their skills through special Christmas dance performances.
Amanda, the CEO of Move Momentum, had expressed, “Our Showcase and Social presented a more relaxed atmosphere compared to the Summer Show. It was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to gather their families and close friends, showcasing their hard work.”
The event served as a platform to unite trustees, funders, and volunteers, acknowledging their invaluable contributions to the charity's mission of making dance accessible to all. Beyond the dance aspect, Move Momentum aimed to foster community, allowing people to forge friendships and socialize.
The Christmas Showcase and Social emphasized the spirit of togetherness and enjoyment. Amanda highlighted,
“The performances by each class were exceptional. Following these showcases, we welcomed everyone to stay, for hot drinks and biscuits and all attendees participated in our tombola.”
