Why we need it

Move Momentum needs your support to keep running our classes. We have had an extremely difficult year financially which has unfortunately put our classes at risk. Our classes are so much more than just a dance class, they provide a much needed community for those affected by social isolation, a support network which aids in supporting our students to achieve their dreams in life and a safe, judgement free place for people to just be themselves and have fun.

"Move Momentum has always pushed me to be the best version of myself and being part of the Liberate Family has changed my whole outlook on life and my disability " Liberate Adult student

What the money will go towards.

The money that you raise is vital to our organisation and will be used to keep our GEMS (over 65s) and Liberate classes (wheelchair dance) classes running. £7,000 will allow us to keep our classes running for another year, plus give us more opportunities to expand and bring our services to more people. This year, we are keen to start a new GEMS class due to the increasing demand for this service, a new class for people with Parkinson's and a fresh youth provision to replace our Academies project, which will sadly finish this year.

Ways you can volunteer

There are several ways you can get involved with our events:

  • Sunday 17th March 12pm onwards, help sell jumble sale items at the cattle market car boot sale

  • Sunday 24th March 10am-3pm, collect donations and hand out flyers on the high street

If you are available for a few hours on any of these dates, or have any items you would like to donate to the jumble sale, please contact Keeleigh on keeleigh@movemomentum.co.uk

Please donate, share and spread the word about our Crowdfunder. Thank you so much in advance for your continued support!
