Liberate Dance at Dancing Terraces Bournemouth 19 August 2023

Updated: Aug 14, 2023

Bournemouth’s Dancing Terraces is a free summer dancing event taking place on Friday and Saturday evenings in August 2023.

And having thoroughly enjoyed running the Liberate Dance workshop last year, we’re delighted to have been invited back to run our wheelchair-based fun dancing evening again this year - Saturday 19 August, 7-9pm.

Dancing Terraces takes place at Pavilion Dance South West, Westover Road, Bournemouth,

BH1 2BU, with dance events for all ages and for those with lots and those with no dancing experience! And no booking is necessary - just turn up on the evening.

It’s all about having fun - and if the weather’s bad, no need to worry, as the dancing just moves indoors into the dance studios.

Amanda Watkinson, Move Momentum CEO and dance teacher, says, “We had such a great time at Dancing Terraces last year.

“A couple of our Liberate students came to enjoy the evening, and we also met some other fabulous people. Everyone can do the dancing at their own pace, and we’re looking forward to another fun-filled evening!”

Whether you’re a Liberate Dance regular and fancy travelling to Bournemouth on Saturday 19 August, or you’re new to wheelchair dancing and would like to give it a try, we’d love to see you!

For more information check out the Dancing Terraces webpage, or get in touch with us, whether you’re hoping to join us on the 19th, or would just like more details about our Winchester studio wheelchair classes or our Wednesday evening online wheelchair sessions.
